Forest School Provision & Training

If you are a  teacher, educator, youth worker and would like to work outdoors, inspiring children, our Forest School Leader - Level 3 course is for you.

This in-person training course will provide you with the skills, experience and certified qualification to run your own Forest School programme.  Set at our Forest School site at Westley Farm, Stroud, Gloucestershire, this course is designed to inspire and equip those who would like to broaden or change the way they work and to set up and run sessions working with people, in nature.

Training days which consist of both theory and practical tasks. There are five Units of Study at Level 3:

• Supporting Learning, Play and Development in the Outdoors

• Observation and Evaluation of Outdoor Learning

• Sustainable Use of Natural Resources

• Teach Outdoor Practical Skills

• Forest School Leader

We belong to the Cambium Sustainable network of trainers ; one of the first Forest School Training organisations established in the UK, over 20 years ago. Our course is nationally recognised and accredited by the Institute of Outdoor Learning.
